So Out Of Touch!

I have SO many pictures to show everyone!   First, I’ll show my new sock for my SITM Pal.  I think these are going MUCH better than the socks that I had started out making.  I’m making the Monkey socks by Cookie.

I’m also working on Norberta on Knitty for my boyfriend.  I was hoping to be able to get it to him tomorrow, but it’s not going to happen.  I do, however, think it’s totally adorable and I know he’s going to love it!

Everyone and their mother has been working on the Mystery Stole 3.  I am one of those many many people.  I just finished Clue 3.  It’s apparently 1/3 of the way done, and I absolutally love it! 

I did my color swap today with Wendy and she gave me this great yarn and the pattern to make some dish cloths.  I did the one that has “Born To Knit” written on it.  I know you probably can’t see it too well, but it’s there and I think it’s adorable and it went so fast.  I did it just tonight!  It took maybe two hours, with breaks and while watching television.  I was VERY impressed.

She also made me a pair of Monkey socks.  She read on my blog that I hate DPNs so she decided to make me a pair of socks.  I absolutally love them and it confirms that my SITM pal is going to LOVE the ones I make her!

Well, that’s all I’ve got for right now.  I just wanted to get all of these pictures up here!  Hope everyone has a good weekend.  I’m so excited for this weekend.  It’s officially my anniversary =)  I’ll try to post pictures from the concert/trip.  OH!  That reminds me to charge my camera.  I’ve got to get on that one!

Mystery Stole 3

So, I think that the Mystery Stole 3 group [ on yahoo! ] is by far the best thing that I’ve ever joined!  I haven’t finished Clue #1 yet, but I still think it looks fantastic!  I know I messed it up a little bit, but I thought to myself, “fuck it,” I really don’t care anymore because by the time I’m done no one will ever be able to notice.  So, yeah, here’s how it looks so far [ so far as in more than halfway through Clue #1 ]:

 

So, other than that, my new KAL is doing really well and everyone should come check it out [ HERE! ] and join.  Everyone knows that there is something that’s on Knitty.com that they want to knit, but they don’t have a real reason to do it because of all the other projects they have going, but now you finally have a reason to do it.

Well, other than that, I don’t really have much to talk about.  I’m just hanging out with the boyfriend right now, so I think I’ll get back to that.  He’s falling asleep because I’m not paying attention to him.  What a baby!  But what can I say?  I love him to death!  Who wouldn’t love this guy:

UFOs to Hell

So, it has taken me forever, but I have finally gotten around to sticking up some pictures of my projects that I just can’t seem to get finished!  First, there is my very first sweater that I’ve ever made that I used some junk yarn with and I didn’t do any shaping because I wanted to learn how to do everything that making a sweater entails and not have to worry about making a piece of shit with nice and expensive yarn.

See why I think it’s ugly?  Anyways, I also can’t seem to get into finishing this cute little pattern off of knitty that I had been talking about.  I started it, I think it’s great, but now I just don’t know.  I’m not a big one on lace, so tell me what you think:
