Mystery Stole 3

So, I think that the Mystery Stole 3 group [ on yahoo! ] is by far the best thing that I’ve ever joined!  I haven’t finished Clue #1 yet, but I still think it looks fantastic!  I know I messed it up a little bit, but I thought to myself, “fuck it,” I really don’t care anymore because by the time I’m done no one will ever be able to notice.  So, yeah, here’s how it looks so far [ so far as in more than halfway through Clue #1 ]:

So, other than that, my new KAL is doing really well and everyone should come check it out [ HERE! ] and join.  Everyone knows that there is something that’s on that they want to knit, but they don’t have a real reason to do it because of all the other projects they have going, but now you finally have a reason to do it.

Well, other than that, I don’t really have much to talk about.  I’m just hanging out with the boyfriend right now, so I think I’ll get back to that.  He’s falling asleep because I’m not paying attention to him.  What a baby!  But what can I say?  I love him to death!  Who wouldn’t love this guy:

Alrighty, I’m going to get going.  Talk to you guys again soon!  I think I’m also going to get back to working on my Mystery Stole 3!  Goodnite guys =)

Purl Up With A Good Book

I have decided to join a knitting club called, “Knit the Classics” [ KTC Blog ] where each month we read a classic novel while knitting a project.  It’s just a wonderful idea, being able to combine two things that I love so much: knitting and reading.  They just finished reading Mansfield Park, which I’m actually a little upset that I missed because I do love it so much and I’d love to be able to talk about it a little more with people who are reading it at the same time.

Other than that, I have my swaps that are coming up very soon.  I have already started this very cute project from [ Wisp ] that everyone should check out and consider trying to make.  It goes very quickly and it’s so nice and delicate and just such a great idea for a project!  The more I explore the online knitting life, the more I find that I want to do!  I never knew there were trips you could take and just knit!  I think that’s just a wonderful idea and I so wish that I had the money to participate in such a vacation.  Alas, I am just a broke college student spending every last penny on yarn and nothing else.

I think that’s all that I’m going to write about for tonight.  I’m about to head out and play with Poncho [ my all-time favorite pet Macaw! ] and of course his owner Josh as well.  Some people are just so touchy and get offended if you say that the reason you want to see a person is really just to be able to hang out with their pet bird.  So silly.

Knitty Knit-A-Long

So, I just wanted everyone to know that I’ve made my very first Knit-A-Long [ here ], and I’d love if everyone would come and join if you’d like to!

Other than that, I’ve joined a bunch of swaps that I’m VERY excited about and can’t wait to get started.  They are going to be so much fun I just wish they’d all start right now!  lol =)

I think that’s all I’ve got for the night.  Hope everyone is having a great week.  I’ll be on pretty soon to start posting about my knit-a-longs and swaps.

 Keep the Needles Moving,
